i pagliacci

i've been listening to opera,debussey and portishead pretty religiously for the past few weeks. i don't really do a lot of things religiously. except reading celebrity news, and smoking. so it's been nice. claire de lune is the most amazingly beautiful thing ever written. and i think my favorite opera is la traviata. favorite porishead song:half day closing.

i slept for an hour on sunday night, and then spent 8 hours in the studio on monday. i think i was the most cracked up i've ever been. in my state, i managed to enjoy myself by being completely useless. i think lil might have been in the same state of mind.
he was reading a manual for something he recently purchased, and it was quite, verbal. i think it was describing different ways to mic a guitar cabinet, and it said 'both ways are fine, but one is sort of like a handjob, and the other sort of like a blowjob. they both get the desired result, but one has a much more desirable build up to the result than the other.'

i was going to attempt to go to rockin 4 dollars this evening. instead i slept and had dreams/
one of my dreams was that i won an oscar. i don't know what for, but i won one. in my acceptance speech i thanked a guy named morris.

i'm going to get back to dreaming now.
