self loathing gets you everywhere

i'm starting to fuck up even the stuff i do well.
i woke up at 7:50 this morning, an hour before class
and decided to go back to sleep.
which is so upsetting for me right now. i kind of want to slap myself.

tonight im going to take any pill that makes me drowsy.
and tomorrow?
fuck anything else that has nothing to do with school.

hopefully i can recover from this term

my brother got his x-ring. i don't like him very much. but it's something that he's immensly proud of, and it made me happy to get pictures of him wearing it. good job nick. in 7 years, you'll be the history professor you've always dreamed of being.

sweden

harley and i took a quiz on nationalgeographic.com this evening.
it was titled 'basic geography'
out of 20 questions, i got one wrong. and that's after spending my entire global geography class drawing emaciated(but colorful) naked women and discreetly listening to portishead.
sweden was the only country that made over 50% on the quiz.
mexico came in last with 29%.
the u.s. of a followed mexico with a whopping 34%

one of the questions was kind of funny. it was
'what organization is trying to push the euro as the internationally recognized currency?'
answers included the world trade organization,nafta,and the european union.
not a lot of people knew the answer i guess. seems pretty obvious to me though. maybe i'm not as big a bonehead as i thought

after recovering from my hangover this morning, i decided to drink some more.
i worked the door for the bad motels/the grass at gus' pub.
which meant not paying the $3 all the other suckers had to.
and getting free beer, courtesy of the owner.

there was the after party. where i felt tired and wanted to go home (i would have stayed if i wasnt so exhausted)
megadan was leaving at the same moment, so i thought i'd shoot the shit with him and walk to north st.
as soon as he was inside his house and i was walking alone, a drunk man wearing no pants stubbled towards me, waving his... stuff at me, telling me i was pretty.
i crossed the street and began walking down agricola st. i turned around to find he had decided to follow me. i began walking faster. he begins jogging.
a cab driver stopped and asked if everything was alright. i told him that i really had no idea. he told me to get in.
the man with no pants turned around and started walking back to north st.
the cab driver drove me to my house, free of charge. that was nice of him.

i had a lovely evening.
